Akagera National Park, Rwanda, is almost recognisable today compared to over 20 years ago when it was on the verge of being lost forever. The most common ones are the handsome chestnut-coated impalas, the diminutive oribis, the secretive bushbucks, as well as the ungainly tsetse and the world's largest antelope, Cape elands. If lucky, you will be able to spot the elusive leopard, a pride of lions or the white rhinos. Akagera has over 600 species of bird life.
